1. What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Websites can also use browser storage such as local storage to remember a choice. Commandly uses an essential session cookie for sign-in and browser storage to remember your cookie choice.
2. Technologies used by Commandly
Essential session cookie
Name: connect.sid
Purpose: Keeps your Roblox-authenticated Commandly session available for protected pages and server requests.
Duration: Up to seven days; the session may end earlier if it is destroyed or the application restarts.
Settings: HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax, and Secure when served over HTTPS in production.
This cookie is required for the sign-in service you request. Rejecting optional cookies does not disable it.
Cookie consent preference
Name: commandly_consent
Purpose: Records that you accepted optional-cookie use so Commandly can remember that choice.
Duration: Up to 180 days.
Settings: SameSite=Lax and Secure when served over HTTPS.
This preference cookie is set only when you choose Accept. Choosing Reject removes it. Your Accept/Reject choice is also stored in browser local storage so the banner can remember a rejection without setting a cookie.
Optional analytics, advertising, and referral cookies
The current version does not run analytics, advertising, or referral tools and does not set cookies for those purposes. Accepting optional cookies currently records your preference only; it does not turn on tracking. If optional tools are added later, Commandly should update this policy and gate those tools on consent where required.
3. Rejecting or changing your choice
Choose Reject optional in the consent panel to remove the Commandly consent-preference cookie and any cookies using the commandly_optional_ prefix. The essential session cookie remains available for sign-in. Reopen Cookie settings from the site to change your choice; clearing browser storage may also make the banner appear again.
4. Third-party services
Commandly does not embed advertising or analytics cookie providers in the current version. Roblox operates its own website and sign-in flow on Roblox domains; Roblox may use its own cookies there, which Commandly does not control. Supabase is accessed by the Commandly server for database operations, not by a browser tracking script.
5. Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie may prevent login or protected dashboard features from working. Blocking the consent-preference cookie does not enable analytics or advertising cookies in the current version.
6. Contact and related policies
For questions about cookies or to make a privacy request, contact Commandly through the official Discord support ticket channel. See the Privacy Policy for information about personal data and the Terms of Service for service terms.
